Hi everyone! Happy September! I hope you’ve all been doing wonderfully as we head into the tail end of summer! Things have been trucking along as per usual here with another productive month here on my end and of course a fantastic time down at WorldCon in Anaheim! Before I get into anything else, I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to see me at the convention. Getting to meet so many of you, speak at the panels, and put faces to names is one of my favorite things to do! Now, with WorldCon behind me and DragonCon right on the horizon (literally, I’m flying in the air as this email goes out!), I’ve got a bunch of exciting news to share, so let’s jump right in!

Another Round Of Finishing
Starting off with the most exciting news, I’m happy to say that Requiem For A Forsaken Child has been completely finished and sent off for editing! I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to swing the same cadence that I had earlier with Starbreaker, but so far things seem to be trucking along here on the writing front and I am very happy to have another book wrapped and out of my hands! Unfortunately I still don’t have any idea as to when this next book will be officially released, so stay tuned in the meantime!
In any case, with Requiem 2 off my plate I was able to shift focus and work away on both The Last Sovereign and Ascend Online 6. Both are coming along nicely, and my current target is to finish The Last Sovereign by October so that it can head off to editing right on schedule. Once that book is sent off into the void, my plan is to keep plugging away on both Ascend Online 6 and Requiem For A Blackened Heart, especially since I am anticipating the former to be a longer one as per usual. Regardless, we are making progress and if you’ve been waiting for the next Ascend Online, rest assured that I’m on it and on schedule!

I know we had this up last month, but in the interest of getting the word out, this is going to be a staple line for the next few months: Ascend Online is getting a special traditionally published hard cover version through Aethon and if you want to see more from the series, please help me by pre-ordering it!
