Hey everyone! Happy September! We’re back for another month here with super exciting news right off the bat (assuming of course you haven’t already heard it…), Glory to the Brave is done!!! Wooo!

Clocking in at a mighty 327,000 words, this book turned out absolutely amazingly and I am currently blazing through the editing process. At the moment I am working my way through my forth draft and I am hoping to start my final readthrough of the book this week so I can deliver the book to the awesome people at Podium Audio so they can hand it over to Luke Daniels ASAP for narration and of course so I can get this thing uploaded to Amazon and in your hands soon after! Exciting, right?!

So with all of that being said, its finally time to start talking about what is happening when, and where we will be going from here.

Release Dates – Ascend Online: Glory to the Brave

Assuming that all goes well over the next week with the final proofing of the book, I am looking to release the ebook version of Glory to the Brave sometime mid-September, with a current target date of the 15th. This currently isn’t 100% set in stone just yet but is looking fairly likely at this point in time. My plan is to do a short weeklong pre-order before the book is released, so keep an eye on Amazon for it to show up sometime next week!

As for the audiobook, we will be looking to have a pre-order up on Audible to go with the ebook pre-order, with the intention to have the audiobook out this year hopefully before Christmas. (I don’t want to give the date just yet in case something slips, but rest assured that we are moving as fast as possible on it!)

Paperbacks and Hardcover books will follow hopefully soon on Amazon following the ebook’s release, but I don’t have a timeline for this just yet. So stay tuned!

What’s next for me now?

More books and a lot of rest!

In addition to working on Ascend Online for the last little while, I have been working on a pair of co-written projects which some of you may have already heard about. The first of these two is a Progression SciFi book called ‘Stormweaver: Iron Prince’ and it belongs to a new series titled ‘Warformed’ which I am co-writing with the super awesome Bryce O’Connor! And the second series is portal fantasy LitRPG titled ‘Savaged Dominion’ which I am writing with the amazingly talented G.D Penman.

Both of these books are rapidly reaching the finish (or have already reached it, in the case of Iron Prince!) and I am going to be spending my next little while in getting them ready to ship out the door immediately after Ascend Online is out of my hands. At the moment I don’t have a timeline on when exactly either will be out beyond later this year and/or early next. But if you are interested in getting a closer look at what Bryce and I are working on for Iron Prince you can check out a rough draft of it and its cover out over on Wraithmarked Creative’s Patreon.

Also, in case it whets your appetite a little bit, Iron Prince is currently just over 321,000 words long (we write big books here!) and is easily the funnest book that I’ve ever written. I have no doubt that you will all love it when the time comes and I urge you all to give it a chance! It is really, really good, and I don’t say that just because I’m biased. (Okay, maybe a little, but still!)

Then beyond that crop projects, the next and major thing for me is going to be rest. With everything that I’ve been flying along with here, burnout has been a real thing lately and I’ve learned my lesson the since last time it hit me. I am super looking forward to just to be able to read, play video games, and catch up on all my missed shows for the next little while until I’m recharged and ready to dive back into the words again.

But until then, I still have some work to do! So I am going to cut the rest of the ramble short, and get back to work! See you all again soon when it’s launch day!!!
